Human Dickkopf Related Protein 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dickkopf Related Protein 4 (DKK4) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection via a biotinylated anti-DKK4 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the density of the yellow product proportional to the amount of DKK4 captured in each well.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml and a working assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean recovery (n=5) is given as 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) is reported at 87-91% / 87-107% / 74-101% / 92-97% for serum, 90-105% / 84-101% / 90-101% / 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95% / 92-105% / 82-105% / 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.
