Human Dicer 1, Ribonuclease Type III ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dicer 1, Ribonuclease Type III in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for Dicer 1; standards and test samples are added, the plate is washed, and detection is performed using a Biotinylated Anti-Dicer 1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting yellow product, whose absorbance at 450 nm is read on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to Dicer 1 concentration and is quantified against a standard curve.

The kit offers an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.115 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported sample recovery values are serum (n=5) 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-101% (average 91%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
