Human Diazepam Binding Inhibitor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Diazepam Binding Inhibitor (DBI) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for DBI is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and the assay uses a biotinylated anti-DBI detection antibody with HRP-Avidin conjugate.

Captured analyte is visualised through the conversion of TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is 0.054 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80-102% for serum, 81-100% for EDTA plasma and 80-89% for heparin plasma (n=5).

Supplied components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
