Human Dexamethasone Induced Protein ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DEXI (Dexamethasone Induced Protein) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Assay performance is characterised by a sensitivity of 0.052 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm using TMB substrate. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-DEXI detection antibody and an HRP–avidin conjugate, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5), with linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across all three sample matrices.

Kit components include a lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, a 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated. Samples should be equilibrated to room temperature before use, with longer-term storage at –20°C or –80°C to minimise repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
