Human Destrin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Destrin (DSTN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-DSTN detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, and uses TMB substrate that produces a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 h 30 m and components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery data from the manufacturer show mean recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
