Human Desmoplakin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Desmoplakin in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate, with capture and detection carried out using a biotinylated anti-Desmoplakin antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Bound Desmoplakin is visualised with TMB substrate and quantified by reading the absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance: the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml, and the complete assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported values for serum average 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma 90% (range 81–100%) and heparin plasma 84% (range 80–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
