Human Desmoglein 2 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-DSG2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quoted performance figures from the manufacturer include a working assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery values averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5), with linearity data given for serial 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in each matrix.
