Human Desmocollin 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Desmocollin 2. The kit is suitable for use with tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, and employs a pre-coated microplate platform with colorimetric detection.

Quantitative measurement is achieved using a biotinylated anti-Desmocollin 2 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a TMB substrate that produces a yellow product read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.107 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and should not be used past the kit's expiration date. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5).
