Human Dermokine ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dermokine (DMKN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-DMKN detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. After addition of TMB substrate and acidic stop solution, the colour change is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader and DMKN concentrations are calculated against a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported average sample recovery is 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5).

Kit components include a lyophilised standard supplied as 2 vials, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B (120 µl each), 30× Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as indicated.
