Human Dermatan Sulfate Epimerase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this ready-to-use sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dermatan Sulfate Epimerase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a microtitre plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilised antibody. Following washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Dermatan Sulfate Epimerase Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate is added. A TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of Dermatan Sulfate Epimerase captured in each well. The concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The working range is 0.312–20 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.114 ng/ml. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with kit components to be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
