Human Deoxyribonuclease X ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the quantitative determination of human Deoxyribonuclease X in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Reactivity is human, and the kit is designed for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format in which an antibody specific for the target is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and a biotinylated anti-target antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate are used for detection. A TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
