Human Deoxyribonuclease I ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Deoxyribonuclease I (DNase I) in serum, plasma, urine, saliva or other biological fluids. The kit is specific for human reactivity and is run on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-DNase I capture antibody, employing a biotinylated anti-DNase I detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated by TMB substrate, visualised as a blue product that turns yellow after addition of an acidic stop solution, with colour intensity proportional to DNase I concentration. Reported sensitivity is 0.65 ng/ml and the product range is 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Manufacturer-reported recovery values are: serum 80-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81-101% (average 91%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80-89% (average 84%, n=5). Supplied components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
