Human Dentin Sialophosphoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dentin Sialophosphoprotein (DSPP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for DSPP. Standards and samples are added and the captured antigen is detected using a biotinylated anti-DSPP antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate.

After addition of acidic stop solution, the yellow colour intensity is read at 450 nm and the DSPP concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is <0.55 ng/ml with an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation recovery (n=5) averaged 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%); linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the three sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated in the protocol.
