Human Delta Like 1 Homolog ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DLK-1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips with colorimetric detection, and the concentration of DLK-1 is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. An antibody specific for DLK-1 captures the analyte, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-DLK-1 antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP reaction, producing a yellow product whose density is proportional to the amount of DLK-1 present in each well.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.216 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. It is for research use only. Components include the pre-coated microplate, two vials of lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and five adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Recovery ranges reported are 80%–102% for serum (average 91%), 81%–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80%–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%), with corresponding dilution linearity ranges provided from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same sample types.
