Human Defensin Beta 126 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Defensin beta 126 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is configured on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay reports a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <34 pg/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. It employs a biotinylated anti-Defensin beta 126 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to analyte concentration. Spike-and-recovery has been reported at an average of 91% in serum (n=5, range 83%-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%-98%) and 94% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 90%-99%). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated across the same sample types at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
