Human Decay Accelerating Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD55, also known as Decay Accelerating Factor, in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with antibody specific for CD55 and uses a biotinylated anti-CD55 detection antibody together with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay has a sensitivity of <13.7 pg/ml across a measuring range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery studies with five samples per matrix returned mean values of 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across multiple dilution factors in all three matrices.

Kit components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate, Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer concentrate, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and Plate Sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the protocol and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
