A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human D-Dopachrome Tautomerase (DDT) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with standards and samples captured by an immobilised anti-DDT antibody. Captured DDT is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-DDT Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.
The quantitative assay has a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values from n=5 samples are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity data are provided across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
