Human D-Amino Acid Oxidase ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this Sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of human D Amino Acid Oxidase in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips, with a colourimetric detection step read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing across five replicates gave the following average recoveries: serum 80–102% (mean 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (mean 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (mean 84%). Linearity-of-dilution data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

The kit is configured for sandwich (quantitative) ELISA with reactivity limited to human samples.
