Human Cytoglobin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytoglobin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for Cytoglobin; bound analyte is detected sequentially with a biotinylated anti-Cytoglobin antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, then read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's documentation, the assay has a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/ml, a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery data (n=5) give averages of 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80-89%), with dilution-linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions also provided. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is labelled for research use only.
