Human Cytochrome P450 3A4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colorimetric read-out at 450 nm via TMB substrate.

Designed for use with human samples and read on a colorimetric microplate reader, the kit has a stated assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.128 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.

In spike-and-recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) showed a range of 80%–102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged from 81%–101% with an average of 91%, and heparin plasma (n=5) ranged from 80%–89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same matrices.
