Human Cytochrome P450 2E1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 2E1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Cytochrome P450 2E1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, which produces a yellow product after addition of the stop solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative standard range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.29 ng/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Included components are a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Reagents are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
