Human Cytochrome P450 27A1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 27A1 (CYP27A1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit is configured for human reactivity and uses a sandwich immunoassay format with a pre-coated microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-CYP27A1 Detection Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic Stop Solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader with CYP27A1 concentration calculated against the standard curve.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml by colorimetric detection, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, average 91%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
