Human Cytochrome P450 24A1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 24A1 (CYP24A1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-CYP24A1 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a colourimetric end-point developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is defined by an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml, with the full protocol completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Supported sample types include serum, EDTA and heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates.

Spike-and-recovery in serum was 80%–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 81%–101% (average 91%), and in heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions ranged from 74% to 107% for serum, 79% to 108% for EDTA plasma, and 82% to 105% for heparin plasma.
