Human Cytochrome P450 1B1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 1B1 (CYP1B1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format with colorimetric detection, where the enzymatic reaction is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The complete protocol takes 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Quantitative performance specifications include a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for all three sample matrices. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
