Human Cytochrome P450 1A2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytochrome P450 1A2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is supplied on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a colorimetric detection format read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml and a standard range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-Cytochrome P450 1A2 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; the resulting absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the target concentration in each well.

Reported recovery values in spiked samples are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-101% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
