Human Cytochrome P450 1A1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich (quantitative) Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro measurement of human Cytochrome P450 1A1 (CYP1A1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate with immobilised anti-CYP1A1 antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CYP1A1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection via TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Provided reagents include lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml, with a typical run time of 4h 30m. Reported values for serum samples (n=5) gave a mean of 91% across a range of 80%-102%; EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 91% across 81%-101%; heparin plasma (n=5) gave 84% across 80%-89%. Across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, observed values ranged from 74% to 107% for serum (n=5), from 79% to 108% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and from 82% to 105% for heparin plasma (n=5).
