Human Cytidine Deaminase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytidine Deaminase (CDA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CDA. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and captured CDA is detected sequentially using a Biotinylated Anti-CDA Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and CDA concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.28 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. In spike-and-recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) showed recoveries averaging 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81%–100%), and heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80%–89%). Kit contents include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
