Human Cysteinyl Leukotriene Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cysteinyl Leukotriene Receptor 1 (CysLT1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CysLT1; standards and samples are added and CysLT1 present in each sample binds to the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-CysLT1 antibody binds the captured analyte, an HRP-avidin conjugate is added, and TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and CysLT1 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay covers a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.135 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma yielded average recoveries of 91%, 91% and 84% respectively. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as directed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
