Human Cyclin D2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cyclin D2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Manufactured by Antibodies.com, the kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows a sandwich immunoassay format. Standards and samples are added to the wells where Cyclin D2 is captured by an immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Cyclin D2 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with intensity proportional to Cyclin D2 concentration. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Spike-and-recovery validation has been carried out in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, 90%) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, 84%). Dilution linearity has also been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
