Human Cyclin A1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative determination of human Cyclin A1 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing a capture antibody specific for Cyclin A1, and employs a biotinylated anti-Cyclin A1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.049 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Compatible sample types include serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Spiking recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), with EDTA plasma averaging 90% (81%–100%) and heparin plasma averaging 84% (80%–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 returned 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
