Human CXCL10 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CXCL10 in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The kit is reactive with human samples and shows no significant cross-reactivity, and is capable of assaying both native and recombinant human IP-10.

The assay uses a quantitative sandwich ELISA format in which a monoclonal antibody specific for human IP-10 is immobilised onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells followed by a biotin-linked detect antibody specific for IP-10. After incubation, any unbound substances are removed and streptavidin-HRP is added. A substrate solution then reacts with HRP, with colour development proportional to the amount of IP-10 bound by the immobilised antibody. The reaction is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured with a microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a product range of 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 3.50 pg/ml, with an average recovery from serum samples of 93%. The kit should be stored at +4°C and should not be used past its expiration date.
