Human Cryptochrome 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit, available through Antibodies.com, enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cryptochrome I (CRY1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-CRY1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance specifications from the manufacturer include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml. The complete assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and results are read on a standard colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance validation data are listed for serum (n=5, 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80–89%, average 84%). Kit components require storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
