Human Cross Linked C-Telopeptide Of Type III Collagen ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cross Linked C-Telopeptide Of Type III Collagen in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised antibody, a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer, the measuring range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.043 ng/ml. Reported recovery in serum averages 91% across a range of 80-102% (n=5), in EDTA plasma averages 91% across a range of 81-101% (n=5), and in heparin plasma averages 84% across a range of 80-89% (n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
