Human CREB Binding Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CREBBP in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CREBBP. After incubation with standards or samples, a Biotinylated Anti-CREBBP Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the CREBBP concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay reports a sensitivity of <0.132 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total run time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. It is suitable for serum, plasma (EDTA or heparin), cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, and tissue homogenates. Reported recovery averages across five replicates range from 84% (heparin plasma) to 91% (serum and EDTA plasma), with full ranges spanning 80%–102%, 81%–101%, and 80%–89% respectively.
