Human Creatine Transporter ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SLC6A8 (Creatine Transporter) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform with biotinylated anti-SLC6A8 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colorimetric readout via TMB substrate that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.124 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. The kit is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Suitable sample types include tissue homogenates, serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. Reported average recovery values for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma are 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively across n=5 replicates, with ranges of 80–102%, 81–100%, and 80–89%. Sample preparation involves centrifugation steps such as 1000 × g for serum and plasma and 5000 × g for tissue homogenates.
