Human Creatine Kinase, Muscle ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Creatine Kinase MM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colourimetric detection by absorbance at 450 nm.

The product range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. The kit is specific for Creatine Kinase MM with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Reported recovery values from spiked samples (n=5) are: Serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and Heparin Plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is supported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 ratios for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Storage is at +4°C for some components and −20°C for others; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
