Human Creatine Kinase, Mitochondrial 1A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Creatine Kinase, Mitochondrial 1A (Creatine Kinase MT) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with a biotinylated anti-Creatine Kinase MT antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate producing a TMB-based colour change proportional to analyte concentration.

The quantitative sandwich format covers a range of 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery in spiked samples is reported at 91% for serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90–98%, n=5) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
