Human Cornulin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this human Cornulin ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cornulin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format. A capture antibody specific for Cornulin binds the target in each well, followed by a biotinylated anti-Cornulin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to Cornulin concentration. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is 0.123 ng/ml with a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. In validation testing, average recovery in serum was 91% (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
