Antibodies.com Human Corin ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Corin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Corin. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Corin binds to the immobilised capture antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Corin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the O.D. absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the Corin concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a typical assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80–102% for serum (average 91%), 81–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%), with linearity reported across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each matrix. Components include a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
