The assay employs a pre-coated microplate format in which a target-specific antibody is immobilised on the wells; standards or samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-COPRS/COPR5 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read as optical density at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the intensity of the yellow product proportional to the amount of COPRS/COPR5 captured in each well and quantified against a standard curve.
