Human Contactin Associated Protein Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Contactin Associated Protein Like Protein 2 (Caspr2/CNTNAP2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Caspr2/CNTNAP2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with signal read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.048 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and the assay can be completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery evaluation in serum (n=5) gave a range of 80%-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 81%-101% with an average of 91%, and heparin plasma (n=5) gave 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
