Human Contactin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Contactin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for Contactin 1, followed by a biotinylated anti-Contactin 1 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate for colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml, and the standard protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

Manufacturer validation reports recovery in serum (average 91%, n=5; range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5; range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5; range 80–89%). The kit is intended for use with human samples and must not be used past its expiration date.
