Human Connexin 37 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cx37/GJA4 (Connexin 37) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with standards and samples bound by an immobilized anti-Cx37/GJA4 antibody, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Cx37/GJA4 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with intensity proportional to Cx37/GJA4 concentration. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.057 ng/ml and the assay range as 0.156–10 ng/ml. Mean recoveries (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (91–98%) and 94% for Heparin plasma (90–99%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is: serum 78–102%, 90–100%, 80–104%, 86–97%; EDTA plasma 95–103%, 81–109%, 87–91%, 88–107%; Heparin plasma 74–101%, 92–97%, 90–105%, 84–102%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
