Human Complexin 2 ELISA Kit

A competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CPLX2 (Complexin 2) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with CPLX2 antigen, and the assay employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique in which CPLX2 present in samples or standards competes with the immobilised antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-CPLX2 antibody. After washing, an HRP-avidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate; the resulting yellow colour intensity is inversely proportional to the CPLX2 concentration and is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The reported sensitivity is <0.084 ng/ml with a working standard range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. The platform is a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.

Performance has been assessed across common sample matrices, with average recoveries of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma (n = 5 per matrix), supporting the use of both serum and plasma specimens in the assay.
