Human Complement Factor P ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Properdin/PFC (Complement Factor P) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate; absorbance is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The stated assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.66 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Reported recovery (n=5) averages 91% from serum (range 80%–102%), 90% from EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% from heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity is provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each).
