Human Complement Factor H Related Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement Factor H Related Protein 1 (CFHR1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay is configured for human reactivity on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.625–40 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.258 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) the average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Serial dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
