Human Complement Factor H ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement Factor H in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with detection developed via a biotinylated capture antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance specifications include a quantitative measuring range of 2.34-150 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.85 ng/ml. The manufacturer reports the following recovery values: serum samples (n=5) ranged from 80-102% with a 91% average; EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged from 81-100% with a 90% average; and heparin plasma (n=5) ranged from 80-89% with an 84% average.

Dilution linearity was reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions: serum (n=5) at 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) at 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91%.
