Human Complement component C7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement C7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colourimetric detection by absorbance measurement at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. The complete assay time is 4 hours, and the kit is reported as specific for Complement C7 with no observed cross-reactivity against other analogs or variants.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 1.563-100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL. Reported recovery in undiluted samples averages 98% for serum (n=10, range 87%-105%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=10, range 96%-102%) and 96% for heparin plasma (n=10, range 91%-104%). Dilution linearity data are provided for 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided and the kit not to be used past its expiration date.
