Human Complement Component 9 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement C9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com employs a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured Complement C9 is detected with a biotinylated anti-Complement C9 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, and the reaction is developed with TMB substrate for absorbance reading at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay covers a working range of 0.468–30 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.19 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation in human samples gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5) across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16.
