Human Complement Component 7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement C7 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with antibody specific for Complement C7 (configured as 12 x 8 well strips). Captured Complement C7 is detected using a biotinylated anti-Complement C7 antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit delivers a measuring range of 1–64 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.4 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-recovery data (n=5) covers serum at an average of 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma at 90% (range 81–99%), and heparin plasma at 84% (range 80–89%). Dilution-linearity data is also provided for the same three matrices across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A (120 μl), detection solution B (120 μl), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml), and five adhesive plate sealers. Components are to be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
